SEPTEMBER

Happy birthday to all the September babies in our family. It starts with Bob's mom-Mrs. Rease, then Uncle Greg, then Joseph, then Junior, then me, then Bob, then Todd, then Seth. Am I missing anyone??? I always loved the 6-8-10-12 thing. Just wish we could have one great big party with a huge cake and lots of food. I miss you guys.

I just read the blog from my mom and as I did, I had the funniest picture pop in my head-- Mom tied with a bungee cord to the house to keep her from falling off the deck that has no rails--the cord snapping and my mom falling in the pool and flopping around like a fish outta water for fear she may drown!! (and those people that know me best know that I have this thing when people fall-- I laugh my butt off At least the people at the bank wouldnt be able to see that series of unfortunate events unfold thanks to the fence. Oh to be a horse fly on the that deck post should that happen. And by the way change is wonderful and whenI come home I'll help you re-arrange the bathroom!! Watch out Bob. And he thought it was bad when we ripped the carpet up on the stairs and in the hall. He He He!! On the other handI am NOT-- do you hear me NOT ready for fall. Now don't misunderstand me, I love fall. But I love the sounds of my kids screaming (go figure) in the pool. Well I guess I should say --but I love the joyous sounds of laughter and squeeling with delight from my children as they play pleasantly in the cool, calm waters in the swimming pool. But again, those who know me best know my kids would be SCREAMING-- HEY MOM WATCH ME JUMP OFF THE DIVING BOARD--HEY MOM DID YOU SEE ME DIVE OFF THE DIVING BOARD--HEY MOM CAN WE HAVE SOMETHING TO EAT--HEY MOM . . . . . . . . .
Now as I sit and write this, I have the windows open, and I too am listening to the sounds of the Cricketts--Not sure if we have those other things (cicadas) here. And I have on long sleeves because its COLD. Now the official first day of autumn is still a couple weeks away so I should technically still have temps in the 90's -- just where I LOVE IT!! And the kids should never start school until the day after Labor Day. Thats when Kelly and I went to school and I turned out fine-(oh it was Kelly that started it!! Rease and Helena, thank your mom for the entire United States now starting school in AUGUST)
Well I have a cake to decorate and a kitchen full of cake stuff--and ha the cake has strawberries on it oh a sign of SUMMER!!
